Does the site make you feel comfortable? Are you being pressured to provide personal information you do not feel comfortable sharing on the internet? If a dating site is prompting you for some information you’re not willing to provide then don’t use it. As well, sites that allow you to use Paypal or a secure payment network are a good bet if you’re worried about credit card fraud.
See what the experts have to say. There have been a number of documentaries and articles on dating sites, so do your research before hand. Make sure you know what kind of a site you want before signing up and paying money. Also, know the payment system, when and why you make payments. Some sites are free to sign up for but it costs to review your matches.
